Life is temporary
Everything is temporary
The food you eat gets pooped out
The hair you grow gets cut off
You shed cells that were new three months ago
You have a cold for a few days
The sun rises and then sets
Car rides and plane rides end and you're at a destination
The hangover from last night wears off
Your unibrow grows back every two weeks
One hit wonders
Hot pants
Ugly sweaters
Types of tech
Your new shoes become old shoes
Your puppy become a dog
Your dad has his mid life crisis
And your mom may become an old hag
Or upgrade herself to MILF status
Apparatus--I live for that word
But I can't because it too is only temporary
And however dreary our existence is we can always keep the nobs turning because all of this
