LITTLE
BOY taps on the glass of the exhibit where they are holding SCARLETT, it is an
all dark, carpeted floor, in the style of an aquarium, and there is yellow
light coming from behind the glass where SCARLETT is.
MOTHER’S VOICE (kind of out
of tune / mumbled / murmured—little boy isn’t paying attention)
Come on little one if we
don’t go now we’ll miss the train home.
LITTLE
BOY trips over his shoelaces and breaks his fall with his hands—and places his
ear to the bottom of the glass where he can hear
SCARLETT
beginning to sing -- --
SCREEN
PANS OVER to SCARLETT’s AREA we can see her tracing the LITTLE BOY’s outline as
she sings to him,

telling jokes while they wait for their filling to be sized right, neighbors
waving hi to the kids as they’re covering up the grass and sealing the windows.
All the stores have packing up and going out of business sign’s tacked on them.
Mom’s fitting their children with new uniforms that will keep them safe.

only 24 hours left, Government supply truck will be coming by tomorrow to
deliver food as they will every week with special packaging so it can’t be
